Dragon Cuts to the Quick

DRP47012

It’s refreshing to see Dragon continuing to reinvent the wheel by coming out with more installments in their Project Cutaway series. Their latest 1:144 scale offering examines the very first Boeing 747-100 to roll out of their Everett, Washington, assembly plant back in the late 1960s, and offers all of the detail and polish everyone has come to expect from their exceptional 3-D “peer inside” series (#DRP 47012). Their marketing promo hypes an August release, which can’t come soon enough for this fan of aviation history.

Dragon Schedules Lift Off for July

DRP47403

As part of their burgeoning Project Cutaway range, Dragon has announced that their long awaited 1:144 scale replica of the Space Shuttle “Discovery” w/Solid Rocket Booster is slated to lift off this July (DRP47403). Like their previously released Air Force One, the upcoming Space Shuttle will feature sections that are transparent, allowing the collector to peer inside the model without taking anything apart.

The model comes with its own circular stand that allows the assembly to be safely displayed as though it is about to launch vertically on one last mission.
