Eaglemoss Star Trek Starships Collection

Eaglemoss Extends its Five-Year Journey in the Star Trek Universe

Eaglemoss’ Star Trek Federation Yeager Class Starship – USS Yeager NCC-65674. Like its predecessors, expect it to come with a handsome, full-color collector magazine.

Its beginning to look as if Eaglemoss views a black hole as nothing more than a well it can keep priming to churn out an ever staggering array of Star Trek products. While we have no problem with this strategy, we can only wonder how long they can continue to maintain this course in the Neutral Zone, returning to Star Base only when the well has finally run dry.

Anyway, the 122nd starship in their standard-sized Star Trek range was unveiled yesterday: a Yeager class starship named, rather appropriately, the USS Yeager, no doubt paying homage to USAF test pilot, General Chuck Yeager. We’ve heard that the series has been extended to 160 starships, meaning another trip to Ikea just to obtain more display cabinets may be in order.

We’ve also learned that their newly minted Star Trek Discovery collection will include several over-sized starships, much like their Star Trek XL collection. Typically, these ships measure around 9-inches in length and come with a bit more detail than their lilliputian counterparts. Frankly, if you’re looking to collect every single ship in the Eaglemoss Star Trek universe, expect to lay out several hundred bucks each month just to keep up.

Product Spotlight: When Titans Fall

Eaglemoss” Star Trek Federation Luna Class Starship – USS Titan NCC-80102

We’ve had incredible success with the Aventine, a previously convention exclusive starship from Eaglemoss that was broadened for general distribution and arrived over a week or so. For those of you unfamiliar with the replica, The Aventine (STCON03) came about as a result of a write-in petition from Trekkies worldwide, and is now part of the manufacturer’s expanded universe series.

Another ship previously released in limited numbers and only available at Comic Con is the USS Titan (STCON02), which we hear will also be nade available in larger numbers and is expected some time in January. We’re going to do our best to maintain inventory on the Aventime so that the two can be shipped out together but cannot guarantee this strategy will work given current demand. So, if you are interested in amassing every single ship in the collection, we strongly suggest getting the Aventine now and placing a pre-order for the Titan which we will process and ship out the moment we receive them.

Boldly Adventure on the Aventine!

Eaglemoss’ Star Trek Federation Vesta Class Starship – USS Aventine NCC-82602

As promised, we now have a cache of the convention exclusive Star Trek starship, the USS Aventine. For those unfamiliar with the starship, the USS Aventine is a first generation Vesta-class starship that was commissioned in 2380 and was the second starship of her class to be completed. Originally commanded by Captain Dexar, command of the Aventine was given to Lieutenant Commander – and subsequently promoted to Captain – Ezri Dax after Captain Dexar and his First Officer, Commander Tovak were killed in combat with a Borg Sphere near Acamar. The Second Officer took command of the ship and was able to get it to safety. Two weeks later, Lieutenant Commander Dax was promoted to Captain and given permanent command.

The ship comes bundled with a full-color collector magazine, and has been eagerly sought after ever since it surfaced at the recent Comic-Con convention in New York. This one will likely sell out fast, so place your orders as soon as possible to guarantee delivery before the holidays.

Eaglemoss Puts the Star(s) in Star Trek

Eaglemoss’ Special Edition No. 8: Star Trek Constitution Class Cruiser – USS Franklin NCC-1743 [With Collector Magazine]
Star Trek Beyond was easily one of the best feature length Star Trek films, combining great storytelling with imaginative graphics and superb acting. That said, we are proud to have finally taken delivery of two of the ships portrayed in the film: a Constitution class cruiser, USS Franklin NCC-1743 (STSP08), and its nemesis, an Altamid Swarm ship (STSP09).

Eaglemoss’ Special Edition No. 9: Star Trek Altamid Swarm Ship [With Collector Magazine]
Both are part of the Eaglemoss Special Edition series, meaning they are larger than a standard-sized star ship and made in far fewer numbers. We are already starting to run low on both of these exciting releases and we are not sure if they will be restocked and if so, when, considering many of the earlier Special Edition releases are still on back order with no sign of their return to the Neutral Zone.

Eaglemoss Puts the “Disc” in Discovery

USS Discovery NCC-1031, the star attraction in the forthcoming Star Trek Discovery series.

With the debut of the latest Star Trek series, Star Trek Discovery, just a few days away, Eaglemoss has begun showing off images of the series star attraction. The USS Discovery NCC-1301 features a distinctive disk in the forward section of the ship, which is circumnavigated by a second larger disk attached to several connectors. This unusual configuration is connected by its neck to a larger splayed fuselage which, in turn, is affixed to the traditional twin engine nacelles. Its a radical departure of sorts, since most of the Federation starships boast a single saucer where most of the ship’s activities take place. We can only assume there is a reason for this odd configuration that will likely be explained as the series commences.

We will be listing the Discovery ship on our site shortly, which will reportedly be followed by additional ships from the new series. No price has yet to be established, although rumor has it that this line will be more in line with their XL range of larger starships that come bundled with their own magazines.

Eaglemoss Enters the Discovery Zone

Starting early in 2018, a new series of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY starships will launch, with a new ship out every month.

Its long been speculated that Eaglemoss, makers of the Star Trek Starship Series, would have a major role supporting CBS’s upcoming series Star Trek: Discovery. Earlier today it was revealed that Eaglemoss will be producing an entirely new range of starships based in the Discovery universe, all of which will be slightly larger than a standard-sized ship yet smaller than their Large Scale Series. Product Spotlight: Eaglemoss Boldly Glows

Eaglemoss is offering loads of category extensions for its hugely popular Star Trek series, including a new glow-in-the-dark series scheduled to debut for the holidays

If you’ve been wondering what new rabbits Eaglemoss plans to pull out of its Star Trek hat, wonder no more. Word on the street is that they plan to offer a glow-in-the dark series of standard-sized starships, beginning with the USS Defiant NCC-1764. A fuzzy image was uploaded by Ben Robinson, project manager for the Eaglemoss Star Trek series, showing how the product would likely look when viewed in the dark. No further product information was provided and whether or not the starship would come bundled with the customary magazine.

Eaglemoss Reboots Star Trek Beyond with the Swarm Ship

An over-sized Swarm ship from the movie Star Trek Beyond

While most Trekkies no doubt expected a rendition of the USS Franklin as part of the Eaglemoss Star Trek Universe, it was a bit of a surprised when the Company announced plans to offer an over-sized replica of one of the Swarm Ships. Measuring 8 inches in length and capable of carrying two crewmen, the Swarm ship were employed in large numbers on Altamid by the planet’s original inhabitants sometime prior to the 2160s. In the year 2263, Krall used his swarm to attack the Federation starship USS Enterprise under the command of Captain James T. Kirk. Approaching the Enterprise in orbit of Altamid, these ships initially appeared to be one large vessel, emitting an unidentifiable signal, but quickly separated and attacked in a coordinated effort to disable the Constitution-class ship. Surrounding and ramming it repeatedly, these ships inflicted serious damage on the Enterprise, first severing its warp nacelles before finally separating its primary hull from its secondary hull.

Look for the Swarm ship to make an encore appearance some time in September.

Eaglemoss Stokes the Fires of the Star Trek Universe

Eaglemoss’ inaugural large scale take on the USS Enterprise NCC-1701

Apparently, late March is shaping up to be a big month for all things Star Trek. Not only were a number of new Star Trek-related merchandise announced by Eaglemoss last week, the Company also primed the pump and is now delivering on several products that were announced several months ago.

Perhaps the most noteworthy newcomer is their inaugural large scale starship, which is based upon the iconic USS Enterprise NCC-1701. Measuring some eleven inches in length (as compared with a 5-inch standard-sized Enterprise) and packaged with the customary collector magazine, we predict this one to sell out quickly, no doubt forming the cornerstone to an entirely new segment of the Eaglemoss universe. Also arriving is their first Designing Starships reference guide, a 160-page full-color, hardbound book detailing the creation of many of the earliest standard-sized starships. Of course, no discussion would be complete without a survey of the newest standard-sized ships to join the Eaglemoss navy. They are, in chronological order:

EMST0086 – Star Trek Gorn Starship [With Collector Magazine]

EMST0087 – Star Trek Federation Aeon Timeship [With Collector Magazine]

EMST0088 – Star Trek Vulcan Civilian Trasport – Vahklas [With Collector Magazine]

EMST0089 – Star Trek Federation Starship – USS Enterprise NCC-1701-J [With Collector Magazine]

EMST0090 – Star Trek Romulan Scout Ship [With Collector Magazine]

EMST0091 – Star Trek Federation Starship – USS Saratoga NCC-31911 [With Collector Magazine]

All of these highly sought after items are now in stock.
