One of the reasons we love Signature Models is that they aren’t afraid to tackle a subject at any scale. Take, for example, their 1:18 scale 1938 Mercedes G4 limousine, which has been a hit amongst the largesse community for several years running. Now, miniaturize it down to 1:43 scale. and you’ve got the same crowd pleaser rumbling down the pre-WWII streets of Berlin for an entirely different audience. Priced at just $59.99, the G4 comes in three flavors: a white and black convertible, as well as a deep blue portrayal with its top up. Look for these in May.

Signature Models Turns Back Time
One of our European distributors informs us that they will soon be offering modified 1:43 scale Signature Models that come complete with historical figures. Based upon a 1938 Grand Merecedes 770K Cabriolet ceremonial parade limousine, (#MMSIG43700) portrays a vehicle with Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and six of his party officials as they drove through the streets of Vienna, Austria, after the Anschluss in 1938.
The second vehicle (MMSIG43701) depicts a 1938 Grand Merecedes 770K sedan as it arrives at the Hotel Nido dell Aquila del Gran Sasso in the Abruzzo region of central Italy. As is typically the case with these bundled sets, they sell out very fast and are oftentimes made in very limited numbers that are difficult to find years hence.
Signature Models Slides Into the Driver’s Seat
Originally produced in midnight black and off white, Signature Models is finally getting set to release their 1938 Daimler-Benz Gelandewagen Typ 4 (G4) Limousine in a grey matte finish. Produced in 1:18 scale and bundled with three Wehrmacht soldiers, the dull grey scheme is certainly the most heavily requested version of the three parade limousines largely because it was the one most commonly associated with the Nazi leadership in the run-up to World War II. All three versions are expected to return to stock some time in January, and will likely get scooped up the moment we announce their receipt.
