There’s a gathering storm intensifying in the Gulf of Mexico that could conceivably affect us later in the week depending upon its projected path and strength. As of 2PM EST on Monday, September 23rd, the jury is out concerning where the storm will make landfall with the Tampa region still located within the storm’s possible track. While the storm could make landfall further north or head for the possible panhandle region some time on Thursday, businesses and carriers in and around the Tampa area will likely be closed and could remain shuttered for an indefinite period of time. So, as it stands right now, we will be suspending shipments after Wednesday until we have a better idea as to where the storm is headed.
